Although it took President Joe Biden more than four years and mounting public pressure to finally acknowledge the existence of his seventh grandchild, former President Donald Trump appears to have no problem gushing over his 10 grandchildren.
As recent footage revealed, one of the youngsters was clearly excited to see her grandfather and could be seen jumping into Trump’s waiting arms upon visiting his Mar-A-Lago residence in Florida recently.
The clip was shared on social media by Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, who is married to his son, Eric, and currently campaigning to be the next co-chair of the Republican National Committee.

Lara Trump previously posted a video of her daughter, Carolina, reacting to hearing her grandfather reference her during a 2024 presidential primary campaign speech.
The doting mother captioned the post: “When Grandpa name drops you at a rally in the Carolinas.”
In November, a video showing Donald Trump’s visit to his granddaughter’s school for Grandparents Day racked up millions of views and a slew of supportive comments.
“This is just an amazing and touching moment,” one commenter wrote. “I bet she felt like the biggest person in the world to have Grandpa there.”
Biden, on the other hand, has had a much more complicated relationship with his youngest grandchild, Navy, who was born out of wedlock following a dalliance between her mother and Hunter Biden.
The matter grew into a protracted legal battle between the two parents, and the elder Biden clearly hoped to keep the scandal out of public view — even if it meant pretending that the young girl did not exist.
After inaccurately maintaining that he only had six grandchildren, Biden received significant criticism from Republicans and even some prominent Democrats, resulting in a July statement acknowledging his seventh grandchild.
“This is not a political issue, it’s a family matter,” he claimed at the time. “Jill and I only want what is best for all of our grandchildren, including Navy.”
The pressure leading to Biden’s statement even came from typically friendly sources, including ABC’s “The View.”
As co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin asserted just days before the president acknowledged Navy: “I do feel like if it was Trump, we would talk about it. That’s the thing.”
