Firebombed Pregnancy Center Seeks Justice

A pro-life pregnancy center in Rochester, New York, that was firebombed nearly two years ago is questioning why President Joe Biden’s FBI has yet to make any arrests in the case.

In the wake of churches burning and pro-life centers across the country being attacked leading up to and following the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision that caused an outpouring of leftist outrage, the pro-life center is demanding the organization provide a deeper level of assistance in identifying and bringing the terrorists to justice.

In June 2022, CompassCare Pregnancy Medical Center was attacked during the night. While the FBI has put up a billboard offering a $25,000 reward, officials at the center say the agency has not communicated with them about the investigation’s progress.

“The billboard appeared just before pro-abortion arsonist Hridindu Sankar Roychowdhury was sentenced for a separate attack on a pro-life facility in Madison, Wisconsin,” the center’s CEO Rev. Jim Harden said in a statement.

Harden added that CompassCare’s supporters have asked if the center paid for the billboard, but they did not and remain in the dark about the attack and the FBI’s follow-up.

Frustrated with the lack of progress from the FBI, CompassCare has hired private investigators to probe the arson attack. As a result of their efforts, two defendants, John Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2, were identified.

CompassCare has also filed a federal lawsuit against two “known pro-abortion activists” under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act. The center even saw a 40-year-old woman, Hannah Kamke, arrested in March 2023 and charged with a felony for spray painting “liars” on the center’s sign.

CompassCare is resigned to going after whoever spearheaded the arson attack, not willing to sit back and allow themselves to be continually victimized. They are actively seeking the assistance of law enforcement. But, given the reported communication situation between the two organizations, it seems the facility will have to go it alone in the wake of Biden’s FBI’s biased enforcement.

Despite the setbacks, CompassCare has not resigned itself to being a victim. The pro-life office continues to aggressively target those it believes spearheaded the arson attack on its facility.
