Journalist Blames ‘MAGA’ Males For Random NYC Attacks On Women

The woke mob is known for its over-the-top ideologies, which usually involve gender issues, racism and reproductive rights. A feminist writer from Salon took the cake, claiming that the recent random attacks on women in New York City are a result of the “male rage fueling MAGA.”

Amanda Marcotte, a writer for the progressive publication Salon, decided to write an article blaming, presumably, White male Trump supporters for several attacks on women in the Big Apple, even though she admitted that the men were of different ethnicities.

According to several news outlets, there has been an issue with random men walking up to women and punching them in the face, unprovoked. In one case, a random male walked out of a McDonald’s and randomly punched a woman in the face, breaking her nose, and running away.

“These stories resonate, as well, because the nation is having a moment of increasingly unhinged male fury at women for daring to have lives that are centered around something other than catering to a man’s every whim,” Marcotte wrote. “Unleashed by Donald Trump and the MAGA movement, there’s an upswell of loud male entitlement shouting at us from every corner.”

Marcotte claimed that the women who were attacked were “mostly young and pretty” and implied that they were attacked because they were not giving the assailants attention, apparently something that she says fills MAGA males with rage.

Marcotte also has an issue with conservative women who prefer to be “tradwives,” women who would rather be a housewife, taking care of the children and maintaining household duties like cooking and cleaning. She claimed that these women are “unemployed and housebound” and fall for MAGA males to dominate them.

The article was so outrageous that it immediately received backlash from both men and women. One of the things that most critics pointed out was that the men Marcotte referred to as MAGA males were not White. The mugshots provided showed that most of the men were Black.

Others pointed out that MAGA men don’t usually live in New York City.

“Actually, drug-crazed and violent criminals target people who can’t fight back, and that’s usually unarmed women. We can fix the problem by locking these men in prison or psych wards. It’s really that simple, and doesn’t require a ninth-grade feminist think piece in Salon,” replied New York City Councilwoman Vickie Paladino.

After receiving heat from her smear campaign, Marcotte wrote on X how she had been receiving hateful emails from MAGA men and how she refuses to read them. Safe to say, that post also received several comments, mocking the so-called journalist.
