Illegal Immigration From Asia, Africa Has Tripled Under Biden

It was recently reported that the number of people coming from Asia and Africa to the U.S. has more than tripled since 2022, setting the stage for the worst illegal immigration crisis under any president in American history.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reported that, per arrest data, the number of illegal immigrants from China, India, and other countries worldwide reached 214,000 in 2013, marking a 30% increase from 70,000 in 2022 and 19,000 from a year prior, as reported by the Post Millennial.

The problem has become increasingly worse that the head of the migrant support unit of the Mexican government, Enrique Lucero, told the Wall Street Journal, “The increase in migration from Asia and Africa is remarkable. These days, we are dealing with 120 nationalities and 60 different languages.”

Human smugglers have gained prominence among those wishing to illegally enter the U.S. Indeed, business is good for these individuals as illegal immigration hits record highs under the Biden administration. Such a profession is now using social media to establish so-called “donkey flights” for illegal immigrants to countries in Latin America that have lax requirements to enter.

Upon reaching a given destination, the human smugglers would then transport the illegal immigrants to the U.S. southern border.

An illegal immigrant explained the process to the Wall Street Journal. Mohamed Aweineny told the outlet about his experience traveling from West Africa to Colombia.

“I followed the internet to learn how to get to America without a visa,” he said.

A senior Biden administration official said that the influx of illegal immigrants from other countries has halted its operations “because we just don’t have longstanding ties or agreements in place with many countries in order to facilitate quick removals,” adding, “We are actively working on that.”

The crisis at the southern border has affected the lives of every American, with 100,000 dying because of fentanyl overdoses. Under Biden’s watch, every U.S. state has become a border state, with cities such as Chicago and New York City being hit the hardest by the issue.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams, a Democrat, has consistently blasted the Biden administration over the crisis at the southern border. Since the summer of 2022, the Big Apple has taken in over 200,000 illegal immigrants.
