Suspect In Custody After Stabbing Spree Targets Young Girls At Massachusetts Movie Theater

A man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing rampage that left four girls, aged 9 to 17, injured at an AMC movie theater in Braintree, Massachusetts, on Saturday evening. The suspect allegedly entered the theater around 6 p.m. and attacked the girls without warning.

Following the attack, the suspect fled the scene in a black SUV. Using video footage, police identified the vehicle’s license plate and alerted other law enforcement agencies about the fleeing suspect and It was later discovered that a car matching the description was involved in a similar assault in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

Approximately an hour after the theater stabbing, he attacked two more people, a 21-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man, at a McDonald’s. Both victims survived their terrifying ordeals after being transported to area hospitals for treatment.

Massachusetts State Police pursued the suspect, who crashed his vehicle in Sandwich, Massachusetts, before being taken into custody.
