UFO Sightings Near Military Bases Raise Alarm, Pentagon Investigating

UFO sightings near some of the most sensitive military bases in the US are raising concerns, as former Pentagon officials reveal new details. According to Chris Mellon, who once held a senior intelligence role at the Pentagon, strange “mother ships” have been observed releasing smaller drones over restricted airspace.

For more than two weeks last December, UFOs were spotted flying over Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. These crafts were seen moving rapidly, displaying flashing lights, and violating the area’s airspace. Mellon also reported similar sightings at Lockheed Martin’s Skunk Works facility in California, home to advanced aircraft development.

Retired U.S. Air Force Gen. Mark Kelly confirmed that drones had flown near Naval Station Norfolk, one of the most important Navy bases in the world. Despite the high security of these locations, military efforts to interfere with the UFOs using signal-jamming technology were unsuccessful.

Mellon expressed his concerns in an interview, suggesting the UFOs may be foreign intelligence drones, possibly from China. He noted that these crafts are showing signs of advanced technology and seem to want to be seen, with no effort to avoid detection.

The sightings prompted meetings at the White House, where President Joe Biden was briefed on the situation. Federal law prevents the military from shooting down drones unless there is an imminent threat, complicating the response to these incidents.

The Pentagon is continuing its investigation into the UFOs, but as of now, their origin and purpose remain unclear.
