Trump Vows To Transform Colleges With New Standards And Accountability

President Donald Trump has revealed a comprehensive plan to revamp America’s colleges and universities, pledging to end leftist control and restore academic accountability. His proposal includes reforms aimed at reducing tuition costs and preparing students for the workforce.

Trump criticized the current accreditation system, which he argued has allowed radical ideologies to dominate higher education. He vowed to remove leftist accreditors and replace them with new organizations focused on ensuring colleges deliver quality education.

The plan includes cutting wasteful administrative roles and Marxist Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) offices, which Trump says have inflated tuition costs. Colleges would also be required to offer accelerated and affordable degree options, providing students with more value for their investment.

To guarantee educational quality, Trump proposed implementing entrance and exit exams, along with enhanced job placement services. These measures aim to ensure students leave college with marketable skills and clear career paths.

Trump also promised to take legal action against universities engaging in racial discrimination under the guise of equity. Schools found violating civil rights laws could face severe financial penalties, with some funds redirected to victims of discrimination.

“We’re going to take back our colleges from radicals and return them to the American people,” Trump said. “This is about restoring real education and accountability in our institutions.”
