The Biden administration’s authorization of “deadly force” in the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago has drawn sharp criticism from former President Donald Trump, who accused President Biden of endangering him and his family.
Trump’s campaign email, which circulated widely, condemned the alleged use of lethal force during the raid, describing it as a “despicable” act intended to intimidate him and his supporters. The former president expressed defiance in the face of what he deemed as politically motivated persecution.
The email read, in part: “It’s just been revealed that Biden’s DOJ was authorized to use DEADLY FORCE for their DESPICABLE raid in Mar-a-Lago. You know they’re just itching to do the unthinkable… Joe Biden was locked & loaded ready to take me out & put my family in danger. He thinks he can frighten me, intimidate me, and KNOCK ME DOWN! But worst of all? They think their THUG TACTICS will cause proud supporters like YOU to abandon me. But here’s the one thing they don’t know: WE WILL NEVER SURRENDER! Biden’s corrupt regime needs to get the message – right here, right now – that our patriotic movement CANNOT BE STOPPED!”
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) echoed Trump’s concerns, calling attention to the gravity of the situation and urging fellow Republicans to take action. She condemned the reported plot to assassinate Trump and demanded accountability from the Biden administration.
I made sure that he knew.
The Biden DOJ and FBI were planning to assassinate Pres Trump and gave the green light.
Does everyone get it yet???!!!!
What are Republicans going to do about it?
I tried to oust our Speaker who funded Biden’s DOJ AND FBI, but Democrats stopped it. https://t.co/XSTevEQsNI pic.twitter.com/o0lUjcEdix

Despite Trump’s assertions and Greene’s calls for action, the response from left-leaning individuals and organizations was mixed. While some criticized Trump’s email as hyperbolic and opportunistic, others expressed alarm over the potential misuse of law enforcement authority.
In a statement to the Washington Post, the FBI defended its actions during the raid, stating that it adhered to standard protocol, including policies governing the use of deadly force. However, the controversy surrounding the incident has reignited debates over the limits of law enforcement power and the need for transparency and accountability in such operations.
As the situation continues to unfold, it underscores the deep political divisions within the United States and raises broader questions about the role of law enforcement agencies in safeguarding democratic principles and protecting the rights of individuals, including former government officials.
