Transgender Activists ‘Glad’ That ‘Harry Potter’ Actor Died

One of the most beloved characters in the “Harry Potter” movies passed away on Friday, and radical transgender activists wasted no time before jumping onto Twitter to announce that they were “glad to know the world has one less transphobe.”

Actor Robbie Coltrane, who played the character of Rubeus Hagrid in the popular movie series, passed away at 72 years old.

While his cause of death has not been reported, the beloved actor once spoke about his health issues — revealing that he had been battling pain for 24 hours a day.

Despite playing one of the most popular characters in the “Harry Potter” series, the left has expressed hatred for Coltrane ever since an interview in September 2020 in which he defended the author of the “Harry Potter” books, J.K. Rowling, when she was being attacked by transgender activists. Rowling is despised by the left for daring to stand up for biological women against the encroachment of the transgender agenda.

“I don’t think what she said was offensive really,” Coltrane said during the interview, referring to Rowling’s comments.

“I don’t know why but there’s a whole Twitter generation of people who hang around waiting to be offended. They wouldn’t have won the war, would they?” the actor joked.

“That’s me talking like a grumpy old man, but you just think, ‘Oh, get over yourself. Wise up, stand up straight, and carry on,’” Coltrane added. “I don’t want to get involved in all of that because of all the hate mail and all that s***, which I don’t need at my time of life.”

While many mourned the beloved actor’s passing and celebrated his life, transgender activists took to Twitter to attack him and celebrate his death.

“Robbie Coltrane defended she-who-must-not-be-named in her transphobia. Glad to know the world has one less transphobe today because of his passing,” one activist wrote.

“Your reminder that Robbie Coltrane sided with a massive transphobe and I hope he’s looking up at us,” another tweet read.

“Robbie Coltrane, who supported a f***ing transphobe, died, and I guess people want me to be sad about it? F*** that noise. I don’t care,” another post read.

“Robbie Coltrane was a privileged transphobe that uplifted Joanne’s violent transphobic campaign,” another activist tweeted. “I hope he rots in whatever hells exist.”

Meanwhile, Rowling posted a tweet in remembrance of Coltrane.

“I’ll never know anyone remotely like Robbie again,” the author wrote. “He was an incredible talent, a complete one off, and I was beyond fortunate to know him, work with him and laugh my head off with him. I send my love and deepest condolences to his family, above all his children.”
