Winning Super Bowls isn’t the only talent Tom Brady has. He’s also pretty good on the spot. While standing right next to a sitting President, it’s not very often that you get to make fun of him on stage.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were invited to the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl LV victory, and things got spicy on stage. While Brady was giving a speech, he said, “We found our rhythm, we got on a roll, not a lot of people, you know, think that we could have won, and uh, in fact, I think about 40% of the people still don’t think we won.” Joe Biden, who stands to the side, says, “I understand that,” and Tom Brady replies, “You understand that, Mr. President?”
As hilarious as that is, it didn’t stop there. Brady went on and said, “We had a game in Chicago where I forgot what down it was. I lost track of one down in 21 years of playing, and they started calling me ‘Sleepy Tom.’ Why would they do that to me?” Brady chucked.
To show honesty, humility, and hilarity all at the same time was refreshing to see from a star athlete on the world stage. Not because Brady was making fun of himself. We all know what he was doing.
On Twitter, you can find a video posted by Jenna Laine of ESPN that reads, “Tom Brady, Bruce Arians, Bucs co-owner Bryan Glazer, and POTUS Joe Biden make their grand entrance for the Bucs’ White House ceremony.” The video shows all of them walking toward the stage, except one thing is off. Biden is struggling to keep up and seems to work a bit.
According to nursepartners.org, an online licensed home care agency, “Dementia can affect areas of the brain that are responsible for movement and balance. Many individuals affected by Alzheimer’s and other types of Dementia gradually lose the ability to walk and perform everyday tasks.” Jen Psaki recently spoke about Biden’s health and said that Biden is hard to keep up with. That’s a lie, and we can all see it.
Putting all three of those things together, the video, the walking difficulty, and Jen Psaki’s blatant lie, some issues need to be resolved. Biden seems very comfortable giving Americans healthcare advice, but maybe he should get some healthcare checkups himself.
