The midterm elections are officially in the works. Democrats and Republicans are running their respective campaigns and making the case as to why voters should elect or re-elect them.
However, while Republicans have pretty great momentum going for themselves, the same cannot be said for Democrats.
One poll after the next shows that Democrats are on a fast track to losing their elections in November. Strategists within the Democratic Party likewise claim that candidates should not be shocked if they lose their majorities in the House and Senate.
In fact, Democrats are doing such an awful job that they’re struggling in districts that Biden easily picked up during the 2020 presidential election.
However, in the case of Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA), his campaign is likely finished for a series of reasons, according to Red State.
Reviewing the Strikes Against Warnock’s Campaign
The Georgia Democrat is being adversely impacted by his political ties to an unpopular president. Biden’s approval ratings are down the toilet in Georgia and other battleground states. That comes in spite of Biden winning the state of Georgia back in 2020.
Warnock is likely to end up facing off against Republican Herschel Walker. Yet, virtually every poll shows Walker leading Warnock. If this wasn’t bad enough for the Georgia Democrat, his personal and legal issues have a real possibility of derailing his campaign.
Currently, Warnock is being accused by his ex-wife of child neglect and failure to hold up his end of childcare expenses. Thus far, the Democratic senator is supposed to sit down with his wife for meditation purposes.
Needless to say, this isn’t the best look for a candidate who is trying to convince voters he should remain in office.
The Bigger Picture
Warnock isn’t the only Democrat with an upcoming election who isn’t doing well. Across the United States, voters are overwhelmingly rejecting the failed Biden agenda.
Additionally, Americans know that keeping Democrats in control of the House and Senate is greenlighting whatever terrible policies the White House wants to put through.
Republicans, both in and out of Georgia, have been presenting a different alternative to Americans. This alternative namely involves lower gas prices, a southern border that’s under control, a serious reduction in consumer costs, and more.
If Democrats stay in control of Congress, America is only going to get more of the same problems. This is why Sen. Warnock and other Democrats are almost definitely heading towards major losses in November.
