Survey Shows Conservatives Flock To Carlson’s ALP Over Zyn

Tucker Carlson’s nicotine pouch brand ALP is quickly gaining popularity, with a new survey revealing that more than 86% of American pouch users are considering switching from Zyn, the market leader owned by Philip Morris International (PMI).

The survey, conducted by Nicokick, highlights ALP’s appeal among users disillusioned with Zyn’s parent company. PMI has faced scrutiny for its political donations, including contributions to Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign, and its emphasis on progressive corporate policies. These moves have alienated conservative customers and spurred a search for alternatives.

Carlson partnered with Turning Point Brands to develop ALP, which is being marketed as a cultural and product-quality alternative to Zyn. The brand’s slogan, “Bye Zyn. Buy Alp,” underscores its mission to provide an option for consumers who want to distance themselves from companies aligned with leftist values.

Critics of PMI, including the advocacy group Consumers’ Research, have accused the company of prioritizing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives over customer satisfaction. This backlash has contributed to ALP’s growing momentum as it positions itself as a politically neutral option.

ALP offers a variety of flavors and nicotine strengths, catering to a wide range of users. With its nationwide rollout, the brand is poised to challenge Zyn’s dominance in the nicotine pouch market, especially among conservative customers.

As ALP continues to gain traction, it highlights a broader cultural shift in the marketplace, where consumer values are increasingly influencing purchasing decisions.
