Son Of Trump’s Alleged Assassin Faces Federal Charges For Child Pornography

The son of Ryan Wesley Routh, who allegedly attempted to assassinate President Donald Trump, has been arrested on federal charges related to child pornography in North Carolina. Oran Alexander Routh, 35, was taken into custody following a federal investigation that uncovered hundreds of explicit files on devices found at his home in Guilford County.

Federal agents were initially investigating Oran Routh’s father, Ryan Routh, in connection with the assassination attempt on Trump at his West Palm Beach golf course. During the search, they found multiple devices containing disturbing content, including videos of children as young as six years old being exploited. According to the criminal complaint, Oran Routh also communicated via messaging apps often used for trading illicit content.

Routh is now facing charges of possession and receipt of child pornography, offenses that carry heavy penalties under federal law. This arrest comes on the heels of his father’s involvement in an assassination attempt, further complicating the legal woes for the family.

Ryan Routh, 58, is also facing serious legal challenges. He has been charged with possessing a firearm as a convicted felon and prosecutors are pursuing additional charges related to the attempted assassination of Trump. Oran Routh previously defended his father in an interview, calling him non-violent, but the recent revelations suggest a darker family dynamic.

The legal issues facing the Routh family have drawn widespread attention, especially considering the serious nature of both the child exploitation and the alleged assassination attempt.
