Robert De Niro Says Biden is ‘Doing a Very Good Job’

Actor turned leftist activist Robert De Niro showed how truly out-of-touch he is during a recent appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” claiming that President Joe Biden is “doing a very good job.”

Appearing as a guest on Colbert’s show, De Niro attempted to downplay Biden’s failures as president, brushing off all of the suffering that the American people are currently going through because of Biden’s policies.

Trying to defend the president, the legendary actor simultaneously claimed that Biden has gotten the U.S. into “calm waters,” while also admitting that the country is going through a “tough period.”

“Having a new guy at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue has that, do you sleep any better at night?” asked Colbert.

“Yes!” De Niro laughed as the audience reacted with loud applause.

“He’s, you know, he got us into calm waters, that was always the idea. He’s doing a very good job. It’s a tough one, I couldn’t imagine,” the actor added. “I can’t imagine how difficult it is. I have decisions in my personal life, but what he goes through is a hundred times that.”

“Yeah,” Colbert agreed.

“And so, no, he’s doing the best he can, and uh, we got to get through a tough period, period,” De Niro concluded.

“Yeah, yeah,” Colbert replied.

Of course, the “tough period” De Niro is referring to includes skyrocketing inflation, record-high gas prices, the baby formula shortage and much more. While average Americans suffer financially from these serious problems, elites like De Niro and Colbert are able to laugh it off and support the politicians that are causing them.

It is clear that, despite the desperate attempts to defend Biden from these leftist elites, the American people are frustrated with the state of the country under his leadership.

In the most recent polling, the president’s approval rating plummeted to a new low of 39%, while his disapproval continues its trend upward to a new high of 58%, just as the country heads toward the midterm elections which are likely to be a catastrophe for the Democrats.

“It marks the 46th president’s lowest approval rating and highest disapproval rating in 62 weekly surveys conducted since he took office in January 2021,” read the summary from the poll.

De Niro has been an outspoken Democrat as well as a vocal critic of former President Donald Trump and his followers.
