Rep. Lauren Boebert Wins GOP Primary In Colorado’s 4th District With Trump’s Endorsement

Rep. Lauren Boebert has secured the Republican nomination for Colorado’s 4th Congressional District, advancing her bid for another term in Congress. Boebert, who previously served the 3rd Congressional District, announced her candidacy for the 4th District late last year, aiming to maintain her influence in Washington.

Former President Donald Trump endorsed Boebert, describing her as a “Proven Conservative and Effective Leader” who champions the “America First agenda.” Trump commended her efforts on issues like impeaching Joe Biden, defending the Second Amendment, and supporting military and veteran communities. “Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is a trusted America First Fighter, and has my Complete and Total Endorsement,” Trump stated on Truth Social.

Rep. Chip Roy of Texas also voiced his support, tweeting, “Colorado, please support my friend and Freedom Caucus colleague @laurenboebert tonight.” Boebert’s 91% Heritage Action session score underscores her commitment to conservative principles.

Earlier this year, Boebert faced a significant health issue when doctors discovered a blood clot in her upper left leg, diagnosed as May-Thurner Syndrome. She successfully underwent surgery to remove the clot and insert a stent. Her campaign noted the severe swelling and chest pain she experienced, which led to the diagnosis and subsequent procedure.

Despite these challenges, Boebert’s determination and strong backing from prominent Republicans helped secure her primary victory. As she moves forward to the general election, Boebert aims to continue her advocacy for conservative values and her constituents in Colorado’s 4th Congressional District.
