President Biden Takes Questions From Reporters, Calls On ‘The First Person I Was Instructed To Call On’

If President Joe Biden should expect anything, it’s backlash from reporters during press conferences from now on. Biden hasn’t been a great example of transparency in questioning, and not only sidesteps questions, forgets questions, but only takes pre-approved questions.

It wouldn’t be quite so bad if Biden could candidly select reporters, but what Biden does is say that he’s supposed to take questions from specific people, and he’s been told to do so. What a joke.

Social media and news outlets are reporting heavily on this, but it’s not a new thing. Five months ago, Biden held his first press conference as President of the United States, and after his speech, he looked down at his note cards and called on specific reporters. So, to act like this is new means people haven’t been paying attention. If any American has a duty at this moment in our country’s history, it’s to pay attention to press conferences. What you’ll learn isn’t what you hear from the federal government but what you don’t hear.

It isn’t a problem. The White House Communications Director, Kate Bedingfield, claimed on MSNBC that Biden “never shies away from accepting questions,” yet this is inaccurate. People aren’t paying attention because if they were, they would know this isn’t true.

Biden can’t even remember to shut the door behind him, much less take questions from the press. In a press conference, he only took one question while exiting the press conference. Biden forgot to close the door. Another staff member had to close it after he had gone through it.

Fast forward to his next press conference in the same room, and the door closes independently. Was it a White House upgrade? Probably.

The Biden administration is scrambling to make sure they lessen the severity of Biden’s gaffes, and there are too many to count.

Biden also warned, “We will not forgive, we will not forget. We will hunt you down and make you pay,” in response to attacks at the Kabul, Afghanistan airport that cost the lives of 13 military troops. If Biden were going to retaliate, he would have. Biden probably means that he’ll dedicate an intelligence team to investigate and try to track down the group responsible. At this point, it’s supposedly “ISIS K” who orchestrated the attack.

Biden didn’t anticipate Afghanistan falling as it has. It’s important to realize that there wasn’t a contingency plan for the withdrawal, and Biden can’t backtrack at this point. It’s almost too late, but it’s not over. It can’t be.
Biden has to step up his war game because it’s becoming evident that chaos in the Middle East will ramp up like it never has before.
