Las Vegas Bomber Investigated For Pro-Ukraine Ties, Anti-Trump Agenda

Authorities have identified Matthew Livelsberger, a Green Beret stationed at U.S. Army Special Operations Command, as the suspect behind the New Year’s Day bombing outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas. His pro-Ukraine activities and anti-Trump sentiments are being scrutinized as key factors.

The bombing, which involved a Tesla Cybertruck packed with explosives, has been described as politically motivated by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Sheriff Kevin McMahill. The truck’s connection to Elon Musk and the Trump administration is a point of focus in the investigation.

Livelsberger’s alleged LinkedIn activity reveals his role in recruiting foreign mercenaries for Ukraine, offering $550 per day along with lodging and travel. A widely shared 2016 photo shows Livelsberger wearing a shirt with the phrase “Slava Ukraini,” signaling strong support for Ukraine.

His wife, Sarah Livelsberger, has also drawn attention for her past social media posts. In 2015, she posted statements expressing extreme disdain for President Trump, further fueling speculation about potential motives for the bombing.

The case is drawing comparisons to Ryan Routh, a failed presidential assassin who similarly recruited for Ukraine. Routh reportedly visited Fort Bragg over 100 times, the same base where Livelsberger was stationed, though any connection between the two remains unverified.

Investigators are delving into Livelsberger’s background, including his military service, recruitment efforts, and anti-Trump ideology, to determine the full scope of the attack.
