Republican Kari Lake is not conceding after multiple mainstream media outlets declared Monday that Democrat Katie Hobbs won the Arizona gubernatorial race.
“Arizonans know BS when they see it,” Lake posted on Twitter Monday night.

Lake questioned the integrity of the 2020 election numerous times during her campaign, and told ABC News last month that she would concede a hypothetical loss in her race against Hobbs under the condition that it is “fair, honest and transparent.”
ABC News' @libbycathey: "If you do win tonight, how are you going to be confident in your win if you don't have confidence in this election?"

“When I first started voting back in the ’80s, we had Election Day,” Lake said during the ABC interview. “Our Constitution says Election Day. It doesn’t say election season, election month, and we’ve watched as our Election Day has turned into election week and election weeks and now election month. And the longer you drag that out, the more fraud with problems there are.”
Numerous media outlets broke out in celebration as they projected Hobbs as the winner of the race nearly a week after the midterm elections.
ABC News said that Hobbs’ projected win was part of “a stunning rejection of election deniers in midterm contests.”
CNN said she defeated “one of the most prominent defenders of former President Donald Trump’s lies about the 2020 election.”
Hobbs issued a statement after multiple media outlets projected her as the winner.
“I want to thank the voters for entrusting me with this immense responsibility. It is truly an honor of a lifetime, and I will do everything in my power to make you proud. I want to thank my family, our volunteers, and campaign staff. Without all of your hard work, passion, and sacrifice this night would not be possible. Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” she said.
“For the Arizonans who did not vote for me, I will work just as hard for you – because even in this moment of division, I believe there is so much more that connects us. Let’s get to work.”
Democracy is worth the wait.
Thank you, Arizona.

As many know, members of the media labeled Lake as an “election denier” numerous times throughout her campaign. Hobbes herself called Lake an “election-denying, media-hating, conspiracy-loving, chaos-causing opponent.”
Many Americans disagree with this label, including conservative journalist Kyle Becker, who seemed to suggest that the arguably suspicious circumstances surrounding Hobbs’ win only prove Lake’s point.
“Anyone who has attacked @KariLake as an ‘election denier’ needs to realize one simple fact: Katie Hobbs just proved Kari Lake’s point,” Becker wrote online.
