Kane Dares Walz To Step In The Ring As Trump Labels Him A ‘Loser’

After boasting that he could beat up Trump supporters, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz may have talked himself into a wrestling match. WWE legend Kane, now the mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, issued a challenge Thursday night for a charity bout, complete with a $10,000 donation and a mock photo of Walz in a wrestling outfit.

The hashtag-fueled post quickly went viral, with Kane proposing a 50/50 split for their chosen charities and daring Walz to put his claims to the test. “Let’s dance,” he wrote.

Walz made the original remark on a podcast hosted by California Gov. Gavin Newsom. He said, “I think I can kick most of their a**,” referring to Republican voters. Newsom laughed, but Walz insisted conservatives feared him because of his blue-collar image.

President Donald Trump responded in the Oval Office when asked by a reporter. “He’d be in trouble,” Trump said. “He’s a loser. He hurt Kamala’s campaign. I’d put him at the bottom of the group.”

Walz has been under fire not just for his podcast appearance but for his stance on transgender issues. In 2023, he signed the “trans refuge” bill in Minnesota. More recently, the state’s high school sports authority announced it would ignore Trump’s federal guidance on male athletes in girls’ sports.

That decision was met with outrage from conservatives like former Vikings player Jack Brewer, who called Walz “a disgrace to the football world.” Brewer supported legislation to block transgender participation in girls’ athletics, which passed out of committee but failed due to Democrat opposition.

Though Walz has floated a 2028 presidential run, a Morning Consult poll showed him at just 5% among Democrat and Democrat-leaning voters.
