Tom Homan, President Donald Trump’s pick for “border czar,” has revealed plans to bring back workplace raids to curb illegal immigration and trafficking. Homan, who previously led ICE, discussed the strategy during a Monday interview.
Homan said the raids will target illegal worksites where trafficking victims are often exploited. “Many trafficking victims, especially in forced labor and sex trafficking, are found at workplaces,” he said on Fox & Friends.
Tom Homan announces he will begin workplace immigration raids.
If you are illegal, get out of our country now. It will save us time and energy, and also spare you the humiliation. The days of gaming America's immigration system with impugnity are over.
Get out.

He also criticized the Biden administration’s handling of child smuggling, accusing it of losing track of over 300,000 children brought into the US by cartels. Homan argued that stricter enforcement is needed to prevent further exploitation.
Sanctuary cities were a major focus of Homan’s plans. He warned that ICE agents would operate in these cities regardless of local cooperation. “If they won’t assist us, we’ll increase our presence to enforce the law,” he stated.

Activists have raised concerns about the impact of these raids on vulnerable individuals, but Homan defends the strategy as necessary to dismantle trafficking networks. He emphasized that the primary targets are traffickers and criminals.
Yall I miss those workplace ICE raids. When they start let’s get all the video footage before and after. The Illegals getting crying and getting hauled off then a few days later Americans applying for all the open jobs. I can’t wait!!!! https://t.co/voLTcZjvH7

Trump’s appointment of Homan underscores the administration’s commitment to tough immigration policies. The return of workplace raids and focus on sanctuary cities is expected to spark intense debate.
