Former Trump Health Official Rejected $1 Million Offer from Pfizer

A Canadian doctor published an article on Monday indicating that he rejected more than $1 million offered to him by Pfizer to end his public criticism of the pharmaceutical giant.

Dr. Paul Alexander is a health researcher who worked for the Department of Health and Human Services during the Trump administration at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. He wrote that he flatly rejected an offer of $1 million and a monthly salary of $50,000 from Pfizer to stop writing about the company’s products and “hammering them.”

He wrote that every person has a time in life “that we choose to stand up or not.” He described what he considered the manipulation and fraud engaged in by Pfizer based on the new release of documents indicating the price that independent medical professionals have been forced to pay.

In saying that “money is not the key in life,” he wrote that personal integrity must not shift in response to financial pressure. He said that he and a “core of 12-15 of us globally” have been hurt financially. He added that he and his group have refused to sell “silence” for lucrative grants and salaries.

Alexander said that the vaccines developed by Pfizer and Moderna are “criminal” because they are “non-sterilizing.” He added that the pharma companies knew that the vaccines are likely to drive up the number of infectious variants that will probably be “more virulent, more lethal ones.”

Dr. Alexander has engaged in internationally recognized work in infectious disease and epidemiological research in the U.S., Canada, Asia and Europe. He worked for the Canadian government for more than a decade and also conducted research for the Virginia-based Infectious Diseases Society of America. He has worked as an in-field epidemiologist on HIV infection and control in India, Pakistan, and several Southeast Asian countries. And he now works as an independent scientist and COVID-19 consultant researcher.

He has openly criticized the governmental response to COVID-19 in the U.S. and Canada, publishing many scientific articles on COVID. His research studies regarding vaccines have been published by the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons.
