Former Republican congressman Ron Paul has called for the FBI’s abolishment after the latest batch of Twitter Files revealed how the agency pressured Twitter to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story and suppress free speech.
“We do not need the FBI and CIA and other federal agencies viewing us as the enemy and attacking our Constitution,” Paul wrote in a weekly column. “End the Fed…and End the Federal Bureau of Investigation!”
Paul added that Twitter censoring free speech at the behest of the FBI should be a massive scandal. He also noted that Congress would be gearing up for Impeachment 3.0 if the scandal had happened under former President Donald Trump.
“But since these US government employees were by-and-large acting to suppress pro-Trump sentiment, all we hear are crickets,” Paul added.
Paul also noted that the FBI and other federal agencies were so obsessed with satirical humor that they got Twitter accounts with small numbers of followers flagged for censorship and deletion.
“Tyrants hate humor and cannot withstand satire. That is clearly why the FBI (and CIA) was determined to see a heavy hand raised against any American poking fun at the deep state,” Paul stated, further writing that he found the FBI’s actions sickening and deeply unAmerican.
Paul’s column comes after part 7 of the Twitter Files showed how the FBI and other government agencies pressured Twitter executives to censor right-winged accounts. The new revelation also showed well-orchestrated plans of the FBI to discredit the Hunter Biden laptop story.
12. And yet, during all of 2020, the FBI and other law enforcement agencies repeatedly primed Yoel Roth to dismiss reports of Hunter Biden’s laptop as a Russian “hack and leak” operation.

According to Michael Shellenberger, who released Part 7 of the Twitter Files, the FBI and other law enforcement agencies primed former Twitter Executive Yoel Roth to dismiss reports of Hunter Biden’s laptop as a Russian “hack and leak” operation.
Shellenberger’s reports also revealed that the FBI paid Twitter nearly $3.5 million of taxpayer money to censor free speech and ban accounts largely linked to conservative voices.
