FBI Traumatizes More Children In Raid Of Pro-Life Father’s Home

During an early morning raid of the home of a pro-life activist, the FBI agents once again traumatized children as they showed up to the home with guns drawn.

According to a video recorded by the man’s wife, FBI agents conducted the raid on Wednesday just as the pro-life father of seven was preparing to take his children to school.

Tennessee resident Paul Vaughn is one of 11 pro-life activists being targeted by President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice in response to a peaceful protest at the Carafem abortion clinic in Mount Juliet, Tennessee in March of 2021.

The activists are being charged with violations of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act. Seven of those pro-life individuals, including Vaughn, have been charged with “conspiracy against rights secured by the FACE Act, and committing FACE Act violations,” which is a crime punishable by up to 11 years in prison and $250,000 in fines.

During the “aggressive” arrest at Vaughn’s home at approximately 7:20 a.m., his wife began to record the armed FBI agents as they traumatized their children.

Speaking with the Daily Caller, Personhood Alliance attorney Gualberto Garcia Jones revealed that the FBI had not even given Vaughn the chance to turn himself in — instead opting to show up unannounced with guns drawn.

“There was no effort to bring him in voluntarily,” Jones said. “They showed up unannounced at around 7 a.m. They were banging on the door so loud that it made the whole house shake and once they did that he came out — he was actually on his way to take seven of his children to school. The FBI agents, all four of them had their weapons drawn: two of them had long guns, two of them had sidearms. They were very, very aggressive, but once his wife took out the phone, they immediately changed their demeanor.”

Vaughn himself spoke with Townhall, telling the outlet that three of his children had been in the backyard and were confronted by an FBI agent with a rifle who questioned them.

One child was brought to tears, allegedly saying: “The FBI is here, and they are arresting daddy.”

Vaughn’s wife has asserted that the FBI “traumatized me and my children intentionally,” adding: “We will never forget this.”

The pro-life father also revealed that the agents had handcuffed him on the porch right in front of his children.

Video of the incident shows Vaughn’s wife confronting the FBI agents, questioning them about the reason behind her husband’s arrest and demanding that they identify themselves.

“I want to know why you were banging on my door with a gun,” she says to an FBI agent in the video. “You’re not going to tell me anything?”

“I tried, ma’am,” the agent responds.

“No, you didn’t! You did not try!” she argues.

Vaughn’s wife then approaches another agent, who was armed with a rifle, asking for his identification — but he proceeds to ignore her.

Her husband was then reportedly taken away in one of two unmarked SUVs used in the raid.

Vaughn’s family later revealed that they had never been given any official information about his whereabouts, and were unaware of where he had been taken until about six hours after his arrest. Vaughn had been transported to a federal holding facility that was located about 60 miles from his home.

“For over six hours, no one knew where I was and why I was kidnapped from my home at gunpoint. It took a good attorney six hours to be able to break through the bureaucracy and find the people who know what was going on,” the pro-life activist told Townhall.

Journalist Mia Cathell shared the video of Vaughn’s arrest on Twitter.

This is not the first time that the FBI has traumatized the children of a pro-life activist. In September, approximately 30 FBI agents showed up to the home of pro-life father Mark Houck with guns drawn. The raid was in response to Houck allegedly pushing a pro-abortion activist to the ground outside of a Pennsylvania abortion clinic more than a year ago, after the pro-abortion man had harassed Houck’s 12-year-old son.
