Fauci has COVID-19 Despite Taking New Pfizer Drug

Pfizer’s Paxlovid is an antiviral medication designed to help people who are struggling with COVID-19.

This is not the first drug from Pfizer that’s specifically tailored toward the virus. As many Americans remember, Pfizer was one of three companies to come out with a COVID-19 vaccine as well.

Americans have been told to trust the various vaccines and drugs being produced by big pharmaceutical companies. This is especially true when it comes to products marketed as solutions to COVID-19.

However, the track record to support these claims is shaky, at best. It is now an established reality that people who take COVID-19 vaccines are still capable of catching and transmitting the virus.

Meanwhile, Paxlovid’s record appears to yield similar outcomes.

A Case Study
White House COVID-19 adviser Anthony Fauci has been vaccinated and boosted against the virus. Yet, in spite of that, Fauci still came down with COVID-19 in June.

After testing positive, the doctor decided to take Paxlovid to ease his symptoms. Yet, the impact of this antiviral medication turned out to be the opposite of what Fauci expected.

Instead of his COVID-19 symptoms going away after taking Paxlovid, they got worse. During a recent interview, Fauci admitted his symptoms increased and described the ordeal as a “Paxlovid rebound.”

Despite experiencing worse symptoms, this didn’t stop the White House adviser from consuming even more of the antiviral medication. Later, Fauci publicly said he wasn’t seriously ill, yet also wasn’t completely free of COVID-19 symptoms.

What Fauci is experiencing with Paxlovid is not an anomaly. Back in May 2022, the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) admitted that Pfizer’s anti-viral medication can worsen symptoms that are already severe.

Following the Science?
News of Fauci’s bouts with COVID-19 and Paxlovid rapidly spread across the internet. The White House adviser was criticized for claiming the antiviral medication kept him from being hospitalized, especially since this is what COVID-19 vaccines were supposed to do.

Americans also questioned the purpose behind taking multiple COVID-19 vaccines if people can still come down with the virus and experience symptoms.

Despite everything, Fauci is sticking with the narrative that COVID-19 vaccines and Pfizer’s anti-viral medication are effective against the dreaded virus.
