Elon Musk’s federal anti-corruption unit is digging into the wealth of lawmakers after new questions emerged about how public servants on six-figure salaries ended up with massive fortunes.
At a town hall event in Green Bay, Musk revealed that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) would be examining the financial records of several congressional leaders. He said he’s especially interested in the flow of U.S. foreign aid through international NGOs that may ultimately enrich those who authorized the funding.
Elon Musk announced on Sunday that DOGE will be investigating how lawmakers got rich by serving in Congress:
“How’d they get $20 million if they’re earning $200,000 a year?”

Musk answered a question about Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) by saying it’s likely that aid funds pass through layers of nonprofits before returning in a form that benefits political insiders.
DOGE Congressional audit shows three Democrats Senators have gained more than $20 million in net worst each with "no plausible explanation." 😡

He described the process as a roundabout method of redistributing taxpayer dollars, one he believes can be traced. DOGE is now focused on identifying the networks and connections that may explain the sudden accumulation of wealth by certain elected officials.
These are the Democrats screaming the loudest about Musk and DOGE.

Among the most notable is Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), whose net worth has skyrocketed thanks to investments she and her husband made in some of the nation’s most powerful corporations. Pelosi has often denied wrongdoing, but her financial profile has become a flashpoint for those demanding more transparency in Congress.
Keep an eye on them. 👇
These are the Democrats screaming the loudest about Musk and DOGE. I don’t want to hear another peep from these career politicians throwing tantrums over accountability.

Musk said DOGE will not only examine potential corruption but also advocate for measures to reduce the incentives for insider schemes. He floated the idea that Congress should receive higher salaries as a way to remove temptations to game the system.
During his visit to Wisconsin, Musk also promoted conservative judicial candidates by awarding two voters with $1 million checks. The move was intended to increase engagement in the high-stakes battle over control of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Musk’s DOGE initiative has already earned attention for uncovering waste and mismanagement. Now it’s setting its sights on Capitol Hill, where the public may soon learn more about how wealth and power intersect behind the scenes.
