Dems Already Blaming Voters For Upcoming Midterm Loss

Democrats and their allies in the media have already begun blaming the voters for their party’s likely defeat in the upcoming November 8 midterm elections, according to a report from the Washington Free Beacon.

The outlet previously noted that the Democrats and their allies have a long history of “lashing out” when voters snub them at the ballot box. With the elections coming up in less than two weeks, and polls showing that Democrat candidates are poised to lose in many key elections in both the House and the Senate, “the voter-blaming is already underway,” the Free Beacon writes.

When Democrats see defeat in the future, they tend to start panicking. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) was recently caught on a hot mic speaking with President Joe Biden about the Democrats’ midterm prospects.

“We’re in danger,” Schumer said, regarding a Senate seat in Pennsylvania.

It appears that Schumer isn’t the only one who sees the “danger,” as many on the left have begun to lash out at voters for potentially choosing to remove the Democrats from power in the upcoming election.

One attack on the voters came from radical leftist MSNBC journalist Joy Reid, who tweeted: “It’s terrifying how many Americans will choose literal fascism, female serfdom, climate collapse and the reversal of everything from Social Security & Medicare to student loan relief bc they think giving Republicans the power to investigate Hunter Biden will bring down gas prices.”

Another attack came from Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). During an interview with the New York Times, the Democrat House Speaker scolded voters for having the audacity for choosing to vote for people who disagree with her.

“I cannot believe anybody would vote for these people,” Pelosi said.

Lincoln Project alum Tom Nichols, a staff writer at left-wing outlet The Atlantic, chose to scoff at the voters for being concerned about petty things like gas prices — which have skyrocketed under Democrat leadership and caused severe hardship for many Americans — when the “constitutional system” itself is supposedly in “danger.”

“The United States is facing the greatest danger to its constitutional system since at least the 1950s, if not the *18*50s, and millions of people are like: Yeah, but gas, man,” Nichols tweeted.

Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin desperately tried to hold on to the notion that Democrats were the only well-informed voters in the country, and anyone who dared to cast a vote against them in the midterms was “uninformed.”

“Voters who follow the news closely will likely find it hard to believe that so many fellow Americans would even consider casting ballots for election deniers and Republicans who betrayed democracy. But ‘low information’ Americans are the ones who will decide the midterm elections,” Rubin wrote in an op-ed.

Most of the attacks include the Democrats asserting that there is some sort of “threat” to democracy. According to a recent segment on the Glenn Beck program, this is the left’s go-to attack, with almost no evidence behind it.
