Blackburn Slams Durbin For Blocking Epstein Flight Log Subpoena

Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) is calling out Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) for blocking her request to file a subpoena for disgraced trafficker Jeffrey Epstein’s flight logs, arguing that the Democrats are “trying to hide” something.

Despite Epstein’s death, and the conviction of his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell for trafficking, the federal government has refused to make the identities of his clients public — prompting many Americans to conclude that politicians do not want the list released because their names are on it.

Blackburn demanded that the Democrat-led Senate Judiciary Committee, which she serves on, issue a subpoena for the flight logs of Epstein’s plane, which was dubbed the “Lolita Express.” Durbin, as the chairman of the committee, controls the panel’s subpoena power.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Blackburn publicly called out Durbin for refusing the subpoena — questioning the motivation behind the decision.

“@SenatorDurbin BLOCKED my request to subpoena Jeffrey Epstein’s flight logs. What are Democrats trying to hide?” she asked.

Blackburn initially began calling for the subpoena back in early November, arguing that the committee needed to obtain more information about the individuals who allegedly flew on Epstein’s private jet to his private island in the Caribbean and other locations, where it is alleged that Epstein trafficked women and children to his guests.

One of the most prominent confirmed passengers on that plane is former President Bill Clinton, who flew on the “Lolita Express” at least 26 times.

Blackburn also published a video message about the matter later on Thursday, declaring that the Judiciary Committee hearing had been “quite a mess.”

“We were trying to get my subpoenas of Jeffrey Epstein’s flight logs… and of course, the chairman blocked it all, cut it off. That’s not how this committee is supposed to work,” she added.

The Tennessee senator refused to let up on the criticism throughout the week, continuing to call Durbin out in another post on Friday, which read: “We need to uncover the names of every individual who participated in Jeffrey Epstein’s horrific human trafficking ring. I’m calling to subpoena his flight logs.”

Durbin has thus far refused to respond to Blackburn’s allegations, though his X account has been inundated with critics calling him out on nearly every post he makes, regardless of the subject.
