AOC And Other Leftists Still Furious Over Trump’s CNN Town Hall

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) expressed her fury when she took to Twitter Wednesday night to complain that CNN had set up a victim to be “to be targeted and attacked” by hosting former President Trump for its town hall event.

“People were sounding the alarm about this exact scenario,” she posted. “They let it happen anyway without a plan.”

“This, the choice to platform election disinformation, lies about January 6th, totally unchecked and reckless claims about abortion… they need to take ownership of what just happened.”

Seemingly in agreement with AOC is Joe Scarborough of MSNBC, who said the town hall was “disgraceful on every level” and appeared disgusted by the audience allegedly “lapping it up.”

He added that he would not characterize the event as “dangerous for democracy” because that point was passed “a long time ago,” before later complaining about cops allegedly “getting the s*** kicked out them” on Jan. 6, 2021. He then lamented Trump calling Michael Byrd, the U.S. Capitol police officer who shot and killed unarmed Air Force veteran Ashili Babbit, a ‘thug.’

It seems that AOC has been attacking people on her side of the aisle frequently as of late; she went after New York City Mayor Eric Adams just last Tuesday.

“Jordan Neely was killed by public policy. He was killed by the demonizing of the poor by many of our leaders,” the leftist congresswoman asserted during an interview on Tuesday.

“He was killed by the same reluctance for people to see him as human that leaders are exhibiting right now, even in his death.”

Appearing on Tonight with MSNBC’s Alex Wagner to decry CNN’s choice to host Trump on its platform, AOC lamented that “a series of extremely irresponsible decisions” created a profound risk for a female victim of Trump on national television.

“I could not have disagreed with it more. It was shameful.”

Conservative activist ‘ALX’ shared a video featuring various clips of the alleged victim, a woman named E. Jean Caroll, seemingly acting quite erratically as she hurled accusations toward the former president during various media appearances.

Caroll could be seen making various strange comments, including one where she said to MSNBC host Joy Reid, “you wore lingerie in the ‘90s I’ll bet you…”
