The Lakeville Police quickly investigated the mysterious package dump. After examining the contents at their local station, officers contacted the nearest Amazon distribution center to recover the potential holiday gifts.

The driver voluntarily came forward on Monday, explaining the package abandonment was a result of extreme job stress. Local law enforcement chose a compassionate approach to the incident. “We are not seeking criminal charges and are considering this a human resources matter for Amazon,” said Chief Matthew Perkins.
